The basics
Every picture in Pixel Spin Party is one level. The picture is made of small pixel beads sitting on a board, and your job is to knock every single bead loose until the board is empty.
You do that with the color reel at the bottom of the screen. Each spin picks colors, and the beads of those colors break off the picture and tumble down into the hole below.
There is no timer and no fail state. You can keep spinning as long as you have coins. The number of spins you use only decides how many stars you finish with.
The board
The board sits in the top half of the screen. Its grid size adapts to the picture — usually between 18×18 and 36×36 beads.
- Progress bar — the bar across the top fills as the board empties. Three star markers sit along it.
- Percentage — the number on the right is how much of the picture you have cleared so far.
- Spin counter — the small counter under the title shows spins used against the target for this picture.
- The hole — every loosened bead falls into it. When the board reads 100%, the level is complete.
The color reel
The reel has three lanes. It does not use generic icons — it rolls the six colors actually present in the picture you opened, so a fox level and a donut level roll completely different palettes.
Above the lanes you will see a counter for each of the six colors: that is how many beads of that color are still stuck on the board. Watch it drop as you spin.
Each lane stops on a color with a number on it. That number is how many beads of that color come off. Tap SPIN to roll again, or turn on Auto to keep rolling hands-free.
Combos
Matching lanes are where the board really opens up.
Roughly speaking, on the easiest difficulty band a single lane takes about 28% of a color, a double about 53%, and a triple about 76%. Harder pictures shave those numbers down, so later levels take more spins to sweep clean.
Tail protection. Big boards get a small guaranteed bonus applied on top, so you are never left chasing the last three or four stubborn beads for a dozen spins.
Burst
Burst is the one item in the game. It sits to the left of the reel with a counter on it.
Using it chips every one of the six colors at once — about 38% off each. Thrown at a full board that is roughly 40% of the whole picture gone in a single tap.
Because Burst hits all six colors, it is worth the most early, while every color still has a lot of beads on the board. Saving it for the last few beads wastes most of its power.
Stars
Every picture has a target spin count. Where you land against it decides your stars:
Stars are permanent and stack into your album total, which feeds the trophy room. Replaying a picture you have already cleared can raise its star rating but never lowers it.
Energy and coins
Energy
- Opening a picture costs 1 energy.
- You regain 1 energy every 10 minutes automatically, whether the game is open or not.
- Your cap starts at 5 and grows by one per player level, up to 20.
- The + button at the top of the screen tops your energy up with coins — 5 coins per point, with a fill-to-cap shortcut.
Coins
- Each spin of the reel costs coins — the price per spin is printed under the SPIN button.
- Coins come from clearing pictures, claiming quests, opening chest tracks and daily check-in.
Player level
Experience comes in from playing: +1 per spin, +60 the first time you clear a picture that is new to your album, and +8 for a repeat clear. Each level needs 80 + (level − 1) × 40 experience, and each level raises your energy cap.
Album, awards and quests
Album
Five themes, twenty pictures each, all open from the start. Cleared pictures are framed with their star rating; ones you have not touched show as silhouettes. The list also flags which picture you are currently on.
Awards
A trophy room split into three tracks — pictures cleared, collecting progress and clean technique — plus a rotating weekly challenge. Anything claimable is pushed to the front of the list.
Quests
- Daily — ten tasks, refreshed each day, plus a seven-day check-in.
- Main — fifteen long-run tasks that never reset.
- Weekly — fifteen tasks that reset at the start of each week.
- Chest tracks — each of the three lists has its own chest track at 3, 6 and 10 completions. The track keeps counting up for good and never resets.
Themes
That is 100 pictures today. New themes are being drawn and drop straight into the existing album.
Five tips
- Throw Burst early. It scales with how full the board is, so a first-or-second-spin Burst clears far more than a rescue Burst at the end.
- Watch the color counters. When one color is nearly gone, spins that land on it are mostly wasted — the counter tells you where the beads still are.
- Use Auto on big boards. Large pictures need a lot of spins; Auto keeps the rhythm going while you watch the percentage climb.
- Three stars is a speed rating, not a skill gate. Nothing is locked behind it. Clear the picture first, come back for the third star later.
- Spend spare energy before it caps. Energy stops regenerating at the cap, so a full bar is idle time you are not getting back.
Saving your progress
Progress is written to your device's local browser storage the moment a picture is finished — no account and no sign-up. That also means your album lives on the device and browser you play in: clearing your browser data, or switching to a different browser or device, starts a fresh album.
